Thank you Secret Pal!

I owe my secret pal a big old apology- she sent me a fantastic package with a camping theme about TWO weeks ago, and I have not posted about it yet. So, Secret Pal, I am profoundly sorry. And I want you to know how much I loved my package- I received it the same day that took a red-eye to New York for a funeral, so it was a great cheerer upper! Anyway, I know that you are all dying to hear about what, exactly, was in the box- so here you go.

First, like I said, the package had a camping theme. SO, of course, there was yarn- in "Campfire" and "Smores" colorways. (Secret Pal, may I say at this juncture that my friends and I are in awe of your genius)

Then there was a Burt's Bees travel kit- get it- bees? My secret pal must have also known that I am going on vacation soon! There was also some candy (long gone, of course) shaped like mosquitos, and a packet of Vanilla Chai for drinking around the campfire.

And then last (but definitely not least, there was a nut (a chestnut?) that, my SP says, is a clue to where she lives. Ideas, any one?

So what else has been going on, you ask? Well, heat, heat, and more heat. It has been 110 here for the last three or four days. When it gets that hot here, the power goes off, so you have no AC- yuck!

And on another front, my cat pulled the letter W off of my laptop keyboard, and I cannot get it back on. Hmmmph!
